My Morning Glory

Published PMpFri, 05 Aug 2011 16:38:16 +000038Friday6, 2011 by lotfly21

What a blissful sunrise to start my day with! The cool breeze of a fading summer, the glorious sunshine and cascading water, welcome my morning with the saying, truly, the Lord is so amazing…what else could I ever ask for, if God has been and will always be forever mindful even the minute things in our lives?? His love and grace are more than enough to keep us going…. my morning glory.

At Parkplace Resort

Oftentimes, we tend to divert our focus on the things we haven’t had yet, toiling so hard in achieving the goals being set. Other times, we continually pursue the profound meaning of our real existence and so oblivious of what’s real at the present. We pushed ourselves to the limit and then realized that what we’ve been aiming for is the total opposite of what God has designed for us. Though, it isn’t bad at all to work for something we desire, but the bottom line is if those are inclined with God’s original plan for us. It’s quite difficult sometimes to truly differentiate our own selfish desire from God’s selfless desire. Still, all boils down to the fact that God knows what’s best for us and that he has already created his wonderful blue print painted with his signature that can’t be altered. I told myself to lay everything down at his altar, all my dreams and my best laid plans. Refocus your attention on what truly matters…and that is to worship God in the beauty of his splendor, to serve him and to do his will.

With this realization, I pray to you dear God to help me realign myself with what you really intended me to do…Let my heart sing with gratefulness every morning as you unfold the clouds of tremendous blessings.

Life Without You

Life could be bluer than the dreary moonlit still,

had it not been of God’s extravagant love that’s so real

Wailing and weeping couldn’t bring solace to a hopeless soul,

whose heart is oblivious of life’s beauty and all.

Life could be as gloomy as the greyish star

Without his grace and mercy at the peak of the hour

Troubles have multiplied, with moanings and groanings

As gigantic waves, along the shore, are rushing

Tell me where to take refuge? Tell me where to seek a strong fortress?

It’s in the presence of the Almighty, like a river of peace.

I stand in awe of his dwelling, amazed of his doings

My God is my shelter, an ever present help in times when we wander

EVANESCENCE

Published PMpFri, 05 Aug 2011 15:30:09 +000030Friday6, 2011 by lotfly21

Gazing out the window amidst the heavy downpour of the rainy season, I could visibly imagine the street engulfed with water as passersby bravely surmount it.So amused to see them looking for a less traveled road where water could barely stay on it or drench themselves with the splashing water due to cars rushing to and fro. And hey, after a couple of minutes, waters are gone easily. This simply fascinates me to think of water as symbolic threads woven and designed so intricately to echo various meanings, and one is EVANESCENCE. It just vanishes away. Its very nature holds true when life on earth is counted with its impermanence, it’s arbitrary but not determined by chance. What you can see with life now like flower smiling with the summer sunset, someday could be a dying.
Lesson learned: Let life have its freedom to ascend to the top. Never let it be STAGNANT or you’ll be missing the opportunities to grow and expand the territories even beyond borders.
