Some things are better encountered than explained! Some circumstances are too profound to articulate in words. The truth is, I could say aloud,”God has been so amazing, really amazing”. At times, I’d been through a barren land where flowers withered and the grass dried up. At some point, there ain’t no light to get through the cloudy sky. However, I just realized that what we considered as a downsided hill is simply God rearranging and redirecting our lives in accordance to his great design. That behind every event, God’s wonderful landscape has been revealed and that we can find the beautiful flower and the splendor of his masterpiece…….. within us.
Year 2011 is almost over and the new tomorrow discloses itself wide open. Time to close the door on one phase and make a passage to the next. TRANSITION, a hint of excitement and an element of fear. Ackowledging it might create fear within. So, what now? The quote from Harold Sala’s Guidelines for Living says “CLOSING THE GATE ON YESTERDAY- AND LATCHING IT- GIVES HOPE FOR TOMORROW”. Absolutely true. Fear of facing tomorrow will have no room if we just learn to abide in his words. Joshua 1:9 says,” Do not be terrified, do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”. So, just believe that He can take our hands as we walk through day by day in this new year. Have faith.
